Akbank and QNB’s TRY 25,000 interest-free cash advances: October conditions
Akbank and QNB offer up to TRY 25,000 over three months at zero interest. Card eligibility, a 25% limit cap and insurance affect access and total cost.

Three distinctions before applying
- Both campaigns offer card-based cash advances of up to TRY 25,000 over three months. The amount is neither a grant nor a personal loan automatically available to everyone.
- October applications require Axess Troy at Akbank or QNB/QNB Xtra at QNB. The eligible channel, card approval and available cash limit must align.
- QNB links zero interest to the insured option. The 25% limit constraint on both pages also explains why the headline amount may be unavailable to an individual customer.

Which product sits behind the interest-free-loan search?
Personal loans, overdrafts and card advances can appear under the same search heading. These two examples are installment cash advances on a card. Cash is drawn once and repayments fall into later statement periods. Access therefore depends on card and cash-draw capacity as well as income and the advertised offer. Adding several products into one large ‘total cash’ figure can obscure their separate applications and repayment rules.
Why is TRY 25,000 not available to everyone?
Applying the 25% constraint alone gives TRY 5,000 of advance capacity on a TRY 20,000 limit and TRY 20,000 on a TRY 80,000 limit. Reaching TRY 25,000 mathematically requires at least TRY 100,000 of limit. That is a necessary threshold, not a sufficient condition: remaining availability, a separate cash limit, eligibility and bank approval may reduce the result. This calculation is not a recommendation to increase a card limit.
The three-month repayment burden
With TRY 25,000 of principal, zero interest and no added costs, an illustrative three equal payments would be about TRY 8,333.33 each. Allocating the rounding difference to the final payment gives TRY 8,333.33 + TRY 8,333.33 + TRY 8,333.34, totaling TRY 25,000. This is a budget illustration, not a bank schedule. Read the actual first due date, statement cycle and rounding from the agreement. Insurance or separate charges mean principal payments alone do not describe total cost.
Does zero interest mean zero cost?
If a hypothetical offer charged a TRY 600 insurance premium upfront, total cash outflow alongside the principal would reach TRY 25,600. Dividing 600 by 25,000 gives 2.4%; this is not an annual percentage rate. The premium is an illustration, not either bank’s quoted price. Without actual premiums, payment timing and other charges, net disbursement or an annual cost rate cannot be established. Akbank’s zero advance transaction fee also does not imply that every card-related cost remains zero indefinitely.
MY MONEY · Relief today, installments tomorrow
Assume a household has TRY 9,000 left each month after essential expenses and existing debt payments. A TRY 8,333.33 principal installment absorbs roughly 92.6% of that amount, leaving about TRY 666.67 for unexpected spending. A short term can therefore strain a budget despite a low interest rate. Borrowing more than needed or relying on another advance to repay this one can turn the campaign benefit into repayment risk. The example holds income, spending and installments unchanged for three months.
Why attach different conditions to the same amount?
These offers can support customer acquisition and encourage card use. For the bank, the relationship extends beyond one advance; for the reader, the benefit matters only insofar as it fits the repayment calendar. A campaign amount does not explain a bank’s entire credit portfolio, profitability or share value. For business finance, compare maturity, product purpose and the cash cycle separately rather than treating a personal-card offer as equivalent to commercial credit.
What figures belong together on the application screen?
Read the available advance, net amount reaching the account, any insurance and transaction charges, total repayment and exact payment dates together. Other purchases on the same statement mean the monthly burden is broader than the advance installment. Check the interest, taxes and funds applicable outside the campaign or after missed payments separately. A generic loan calculator does not precisely reproduce a card’s transaction-day and statement calculations.
Calculation notes
The comparison covers only these two banks’ October terms; it is neither a ‘best bank’ ranking nor a full market survey. Limit examples apply 25%, and principal repayment assumes three equal periods. The TRY 600 premium and TRY 9,000 budget surplus are wholly hypothetical. Bank-specific premiums, late payment, tax, card charges and individual approval are unknown, so no definitive net cost is calculated. Zero interest guarantees neither approval nor the elimination of all charges. This is not investment advice.
