The same three-step logic connects the global ounce, the exchange rate and the local gram reference. Physical and bank prices may still differ because of spreads and costs.

PRICE GUIDE

How gold, silver and exchange-rate prices are formed

Definitions and formulas below explain the indicative references without treating a theoretical value as an executable retail price.

What Is Gram Gold and How Is It Calculated?

The main inputs for gram gold are the global gold-ounce price and USD/TRY. Divide XAU/USD by 31.1034768 and multiply by USD/TRY to estimate the 24-karat gram reference. Fabrication costs and the dealer spread may change a physical quote.

XAU/TRY gram = (XAU/USD × USD/TRY) ÷ 31.1034768

How Is the Quarter-Gold Price Determined?

Quarter gold is a 22-karat Turkish bullion coin. The FinRateX card shows an indicative metal-content value; minting, physical demand and dealer spreads can change an executable retail quote.

What Is Fine Gold?

Fine gold generally means gold with a fineness of 995/1000 or 999.9/1000. Wholesale refinery references can differ from the retail price of a packaged one-gram product.

Grand Bazaar Gram-Gold Price

The Grand Bazaar gram-gold price reflects physical supply, demand, delivery and dealer conditions. FinRateX does not label an ounce-and-FX-derived spot reference as a Grand Bazaar quote; compare the same timestamp and bid or ask side.

What Is Gram Silver and How Is It Calculated?

A theoretical gram-silver reference can be derived from XAG/USD and USD/TRY. When XAG/USD is quoted per troy ounce, multiply it by USD/TRY and divide the result by 31.1034768.

XAG/TRY gram = (XAG/USD × USD/TRY) ÷ 31.1034768

How Do You Convert Silver Ounce to TRY?

Multiply XAG/USD by USD/TRY to obtain an ounce value in lira. Divide that XAG/TRY ounce value by 31.1034768 for a gram estimate. Do not divide again if the source already reports a per-gram quote.

XAG/TRY ounce = XAG/USD × USD/TRY → gram = ounce ÷ 31.1034768

Grand Bazaar Gram-Silver Price

A Grand Bazaar gram-silver quote can reflect the global ounce, USD/TRY, physical availability, refinery costs and the dealer spread. Unverified physical-market quotes are not presented as live data.

How Is the 925 Silver Gram Value Calculated?

The theoretical metal value of 925 silver is the fine-silver gram price multiplied by 0.925. Jewellery prices can also include design, labour, tax and retailer margins.

925 ayar gümüş metal değeri = saf gram gümüş × 0.925

22-Karat Bracelet Gold Value

A 22-karat gold bracelet is approximately 91.6% pure. Multiplying a 24-karat gram reference by about 0.916 estimates metal value, before labour and dealer spreads.

22 ayar teorik metal değeri = 24 ayar gram altın × 0.916

How Does USD/TRY Affect Gold and Silver?

Gold and silver are commonly quoted in U.S. dollars, making USD/TRY a core input for local gram values. A gram reference can rise when USD/TRY increases even if the ounce price is unchanged.

Why Track EUR/TRY?

EUR/TRY matters for companies with European revenue or costs and for users converting local metal values into euros. Always compare quotes from the same observation time.

Sterling and GBP/TRY

GBP/TRY shows the Turkish-lira value of one British pound. It is a core conversion rate for UK-linked payments, savings, imports and travel budgets.

Gold Gram to TL, XAU/TRY and XAG/TRY

“Gold gram to TL” is the Turkish-lira value of one gram of gold. XAU/TRY and XAG/TRY may be quoted per troy ounce or per gram, so check the unit before converting. Divide an ounce-based value by 31.1034768 only once.

Data and methodology

Every price card displays its source observation time. Derived gram values use the ounce and USD/TRY inputs; they are indicative, not executable physical-market quotes. When a source fails, FinRateX shows no verified value instead of inventing a fallback. This page is informational and is not investment advice.
